Véronique d'Entrmont AIR Project Statement

Veronique d’Entremont is currently developing a body of work called “Comfort Zone” that explores emotional and physical disability as well as the personal and social reactions toward perceived disability.

She creates sculptural garments that one can enter into, both emotionally and physically. Her work is an experiment in affecting the wearer; evoking an emotional experience in him or her while causing those around the wearer to behave in a way that facilitates this experience. With the Berwick, she will be examining disability through interactive sculptural objects.
