Fereshteh Toosi is an interdisciplinary artist whose work has been shown at Groupe Intervention Video in Montreal, Transformer Gallery in Washington DC, Urban Institute for Contemporary Art in Grand Rapids, Space 1026 in Philadelphia and the Boston Center for the Arts. She uses cultural icons to explore current events and popular mythologies through projects in digital media, performance, and public intervention. She is currently serving on the international advisory board for London's Elastic Residence gallery and has recently taught digital media in Maryland and Pennsylvania. Born in Shiraz, Iran, she holds a BA from Oberlin College and an MFA from Carnegie Mellon University. In August 2007, Fereshteh will begin a fellowship in arts and civic engagement at Syracuse University. Her portfolio is available at http://fereshteh.net

Carolyn Lambert performances and social actions that unravel social histories about economy, environmental crisis, and contemporary culture. Recent projects have explored subversive transgressions of underground economies, intersecting values on the Ohio River, and the cultural significance of potatoes. Her work has been presented at the Mattress Factory, Pittsburgh; Eyebeam, NYC; the Urban Institute of Contemporary Art, Grand Rapids; and Exit Art, NYC. She received her MFA from Carnegie Mellon in 2005 and has been awarded grants from the Ford Motor Company, National Wildlife Federation, and the Steinbrenner Institute. She is based in New York City.
