Tech Todo List

(In confusingly random order.)

- Create search for flash graph visualization
-- Med/long term, will take a bit more work perhaps (but maybe not that much)

- Create search for html list view
-- one of the first things I need to do. Hopefully a relatively small to med amount of work
-- To start: one text field which searches content of title, author, and summary fields in database.

- Change account index action
- Add login/out/acknowledge to views
-- These two are things to do someday before letting others login and have special privileges.

- Make graph edges vary in length based on strength of connection.
-- longer term. This will require modifications to the spring graph library.

- Modifications to graph item (node) viewer:
-- Decrease font size of title & author text (1)
-- Remove link from title (3)
-- Add image thumbnail when available (5)
-- Add icon link (small) to actual pdf (2)
-- Add icon link (small) to item in html list view (4)

- In html list view add links to each tag to show only items containing that tag

- Create script to automatically rip thumbnail of first page from a pdf file.

- Create script to parse keywords using wordnet.
